RJ was originally rescued from a local shelter. The saying "don't judge a book by it's cover" very much applies to RJ. He has battled a non-contagious skin condition for most of his life, resulting in some scarring and hair loss. Today he is very healthy, and loves to go for car rides, long walks, or just snuggle in a lap. He is interesting looking, having long legs like an Italian Grey Hound.

RJ is very outgoing, often rubbing his body against the cage at PetSmart so that anyone happening by can easily give him a belly rub or head pat.
