Rikki-roo had a very rocky start to his young life! We found him on the side of a very busy county road dazed and covered in blood. We believe he had been tossed from a vehicle. Fortunately his wounds were all superficial and after a couple of weeks of R&R he has a clean bill of health. He is still pretty shy- but once he knows you are a good person he warms up quickly. Rikki has a very unique feature as well- his left hind leg has 2 extra toes! Our vet says there is no cause for concern- he walks a little bit 'lopsided'- but is otherwise unhampered by this anomoly!
